These verses have been on my mind today. If you have a chance, go read the entire passage. Whether they are referring to this pandemic or not, they are certainly talking about our day.
Growing up, I always thought that when it said “stand in holy places” and “not be moved” it was referring to holy places like temples, chapels, and other places where the saints gather.
But more than ever, we can see that “holy places” are also our HOMES. It's amazing how much instruction we've been given lately on how to make our homes a place of spiritual safely.
In our day, it is not enough to have “holy places” that we can visit often. We must live in them.
And aren't those final words so comforting? The Savior told his disciples to “be not troubled”, and I'm sure that's a message for us too. These signs are a witness that great things are coming. His “promises” to return to the Earth “will be fulfilled”. He is in charge, and He is so much bigger than all of the turmoil we are witnessing.
